I spent all my time last night testing out Rocksmith on my wife's laptop. It worked. I wanted to do some actual playing on my XBox (i.e. something besides the 3 songs on the PC demo version), but we had a ballgame and school tryouts to deal with. When we got home I was pretty tired.
I crashed out on the couch with a guitar in my hand and pick in my mouth.
My wife removed the pick and woke me up before anything happed, but I suppose I could have been Rocksmith's first fatality if I had choked on that pick!
I'm a drummer who owns a guitar which I do not play well. This blog is a chronical of my guitar playing experience with Rocksmith. I mostly play a Michael Kelly Valor II with coil-split humbuckers and a Fender MIM Telecaster (and a few others). I play on XBox 360/Live using a wireless transmitter. My kids play, too (Fender Squier Strat and Washburn/Lyon LG115) and I'll cover some of their Rocksmith experiences if they can ever stay un-grounded long enough to use the XBox.
